Reporting to the Director of Finance the Revenue Manager is responsible for defining and enhancing the North America/Canada Credit and Accounts Receivable process along with gross to net analysis and accounting accruals. Is accountable for a team that manages customer portals, fines, deductions, past due invoices, and analyzing root cause.  Will lead discussions and work closely internally and externally (customer-facing) to create a proactive environment and drive improvement strategies. Will be the “go to” person for customer contract requirements. Communicate risks to leaders for new customer initiatives. Responsible for monthly reporting to key stakeholders, including tracking improvements and alignment to budget.

 Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across multiple operation stakeholders to build accurate reporting and monitor and address performance trends.
  • Deliver proactive supply chain solutions in compliance with customer requirements.
  • Develop monthly reports which include the delinquency performance, DSO, and past due analysis.
  • Oversees the daily customer billing, collections, and payment applications process execution.
  • Lead process improvement mapping to create an efficient and effective department strategy.
  • Develops and maintains credit risk oversight processes, policies, and procedures. 
  • Establish an effective collection/dunning approach.
  • Implements and maintains gross to net reporting and accrual maintenance to aid in forecast/budget cycles and strategic initiatives.
  • Selects, develops, motivates and evaluates the performance of employees. Provides feedback to employees to address performance shortfalls and develop industry acumen.

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, 
  • 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience within Finance, Accounting, or Credit. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience. 
  • Excellent Excel skills, VLOOKUP’s, advanced Pivot tables, and Power BI.
  • General AR reporting knowledge.
  • Experience with credit portfolio management and review, credit risk management and oversight, etc.
  • Ability to analyze data and transform into strategic action plans with timely execution.
  • Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience in working cross functionally and driving process improvement. 
  • Achievement and result oriented with above average influencing skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities at once.
  • Six Sigma – Green Belt or higher preferred
  • MBA preferred.
  • Retail experience with Home Depot, Lowes, etc. preferred.
