About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Data Entry / Medical Claims Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in healthcare administration or revenue cycle management. No prior experience is required-just strong attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate data entry of patient and claim information
Submit and track medical record requests
Upload claims to clearinghouses for submission to insurance carriers
Complete manual claim entry into carrier portals
Review claims for completeness and accuracy before submission
Maintain organized digital records and documentation
Follow company procedures and compliance standards (HIPAA)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry systems)
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required):
Interest in healthcare, billing, or insurance
Previous administrative or data entry experience
