The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and results-driven Manager, Field & Brand Marketing, to join our national marketing team. Reporting to the national Brand lead, this new role serves as a key connector between national strategy and local activation of nationwide field campaigns, while also supporting priority brand and enterprise initiatives.

The role will also ensure field marketing efforts are aligned with ADA’s broader brand, national marketing, advocacy, scientific, and content priorities. It requires strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to flex across initiatives as organizational needs evolve.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with the field as the Marketing SME, ensuring strategy, narrative and media are integrated well with current national level campaigns for a seamless constituent experience, through launch, measurement, and post-campaign wrap.
  • Provide support to national brand, advocacy, scientific meetings, publications, and other enterprise priorities through localized activation and amplification.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (brand, digital, communications, development, advocacy, scientific affairs, and external agencies) to align strategies, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Develop and deploy toolkits, playbooks, and assets to amplify national brand moments at the local level, ensuring consistent brand execution with room for local relevance.
  • Track performance against defined marketing KPIs, translating insights into recommendations to optimize field efforts and inform future campaigns.
  • Present campaign plans, performance updates, and strategic insights to cross-functional stakeholders at varying levels across the organization, including non-marketers.
  • Provide actionable feedback on creative and campaign execution, ensuring work remains on strategy and aligned with initiative objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to enable effective execution across multiple initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing; agency experience a plus. Non-profit experience a plus
  • Proven experience owning end-to-end campaign execution in a cross-functional, evolving environment; peer-to-peer or field-based marketing experience a plus.
  • Strong grasp of marketing platforms and channels, including social, digital, email, and paid media.
  • Demonstrated experience designing strategies for diverse audiences and communities.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, diplomatic approach.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn across new initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 15% of time
