Adaptic is seeking a motivated and organized Junior Recruiter to support our growing team. This is an opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in recruiting and talent acquisition while gaining hands-on experience supporting the hiring process from candidate identification through onboarding. The Junior Recruiter will support the administrative and sourcing functions of recruiting, including identifying potential candidates, maintaining candidate records, coordinating interviews, posting job opportunities, and other day-to-day recruiting activities. This role requires someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, creative and thinks out-of-the-box, comfortable communicating with candidates, and interested in recruiting within the government contracting and technology industries.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Responsibilities

  • Assist with sourcing and identifying potential candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, internal databases, referrals, and other recruiting resources.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and prescreens
  • Review resumes against basic position requirements and help identify candidates for hiring manager review.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruiting trackers.
  • Assist with posting, updating, and maintaining job openings across company and external recruiting platforms.
  • Track candidate activity and assist with routine recruiting reports and metrics.
  • Help complete and maintain organized recruiting files, templates, job descriptions, and candidate records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the recruiting team as needed.

Qualifications

  • MUST have a strong sense of ownership and self-motivation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience; previous recruiting, sourcing, and/or administrative experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating professionally with candidates and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, job boards, ATS platforms, or other recruiting tools is a plus
  • Ability to handle candidate and employee information professionally and confidentially.
