General Description
Intake Clinicians play a vital role within the company as they are the initial clinical contact. The are responsible for assessing and diagnosing both adolescents and adults with mental health concerns. Intake Clinicians conduct thorough evaluations, gather histories, and formulate DSM diagnoses. A crucial aspect of the role involves assessing the client's level of care needs and any risk factors. Based on this assessment, the intake clinician links clients to the most appropriate services, either within the facility or through external referrals. This role requires strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills to ensure clients receive timely and appropriate mental health support.
