Overview/Risks

Respond to customer telephone calls, process consignment orders, and communicate with internal departments, clients and consultants to resolve consignment inventory discrepancies. Regularly generate inventory and sales reports to monitor appropriate par levels to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Process consignment orders in accordance with department SOPs.
  • Investigate and bring to resolution consignment inventory discrepancies.
  • Communicate with clients, Client Services, Inventory and Shipping personnel, and Allograft Consultants regarding inventory discrepancies.
  • Regularly generate consignment inventory reports to monitor expiration dates.
  • Review findings with Allograft Consultant, sales management and/or client.
  • Regularly generate consignment sales reports to monitor par levels and volume targets. 
  • Review findings with Allograft Consultant and Contract Administrator to implement appropriate action. 
  • Answer customer questions regarding tissue/medical devices including how tissue is processed, tissue specifications, tissue/device availability and provides service fees.
  • Complete customer complaint forms and return/credit authorization forms as needed.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned. (exempt)

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years experience in customer service/inventory control environment.
  • High school degree; college helpful
  • Must be PC literate, have strong Microsoft Excel skills, excellent investigative skills and be detail oriented.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
