Role Title: Agency Recruiter

Location: Remote (South Africa)

Schedule: Full U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) Overlap Required

Employment Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA)

Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

At our agency, we bridge top-tier international professionals with fast-scaling U.S. enterprises and founders. As an Agency Recruiter, you are the engine of our delivery pipeline. You are responsible for identifying, vetting, and closing top 1% international talent at high velocity.

This role is critical to maintaining our reputational bar with client leadership. You will directly manage candidate funnels, conduct rigorous interviews, and build high-converting candidate dossiers under tight turnaround SLAs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Lifecycle Sourcing & Headhunting

  • Execute targeted headhunting campaigns across South Africa, LATAM, and the Philippines for executive, operational, marketing, and specialist requisitions.

  • Utilize advanced LinkedIn Recruiter search strings, talent mapping, and direct outreach to engage high-caliber passive talent.

  • Build fully vetted candidate slates within 48 to 72 hours of requisition kickoff.

2. Screening & Dossier Generation

  • Conduct deep, structured video screening interviews to evaluate technical capabilities, English fluency, and cultural alignment for U.S. teams.

  • Proctor role-specific skills assessments and compile comprehensive candidate dossiers delivering clear, actionable hiring insights to clients.

  • Maintain rigorous vetting standards to ensure only top-tier profiles reach client shortlists.

3. Delivery Alignment & ATS Hygiene

  • Work full-time during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours to participate in daily pod syncs and facilitate rapid interview scheduling.

  • Maintain 100% data accuracy in the ATS, including candidate stage updates, interview notes, and submission statuses.

  • Partner with internal Account Managers to resolve candidate feedback bottlenecks and enforce a 48-hour client review SLA.

You are a battle-tested agency recruiter based in South Africa who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. You operate with a high degree of urgency, take complete ownership of your desk, and do not require constant supervision or hand-holding.

You have mastered passive candidate sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter and boolean search techniques, and you hold exceptional standards for candidate quality, dossier accuracy, and ATS pipeline tracking. You are fully comfortable working U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours to align with client leadership and internal delivery pods.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of agency recruiting experience within a fast-paced staffing firm or high-growth international headhunting agency.

  • Working Hours: Dedicated full-time availability during U.S. EST business hours (typically 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM SAST or 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM SAST).

  • Technical Sourcing: Advanced mastery of LinkedIn Recruiter, boolean search architecture, and non-traditional sourcing channels.

  • Communication: Native-level written and spoken English with exceptional executive presence and candidate management skills.

  • Remote Infrastructure: Dedicated home office in South Africa with high-speed fibre internet and a reliable power setup (UPS or Inverter required for load-shedding mitigation).

Package & Remuneration

Base salary + uncapped commissions paid twice monthly in USD
