DescriptionWe are seeking a TPR Finance Manager to join our team. The position is 100% remote in the US (preferably in Central or East time zones) with occasional travel to Dallas, TX for meetings and/or team building events.
Primary responsibilities for the Finance Manager will be to oversee Finance & Accounting operations for TPR Hospital-based division. This position reports to the Sr Finance Director and will assist him with any reporting and day-to-day requests across all markets in the hospital-based division. Additionally, this position will extract and compile data from various systems to develop sound analyses to support month end close and reporting requests.
Responsibilities
- The month-end financial close responsibilities include managing the process with TPR and Global Business Center accounting teams to ensure the monthly financial statements are accurate, timely, and complete.
- Prepare Subsidy calculations/reconciliations, review comp/expense accruals and allocations.
- Reviewing and completing wRVU/ASA Units, Clinical Compensation, and G/L account analysis for variances to budget to identify potential issues and working with accounting team to resolve.
- Prepare monthly MOR presentation with summary and detailed financial information and KPIs.
- Annual budget preparation and quarterly forecast updates in partnership with the operations team.
- Proforma preparation for new hospital contracts.
- Proformas for physician new hires, renewals and amendments, monthly top-side templates for physician new hires for budget pull down and attrition templates for physician terminations.
- Any other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate needs to have the following:
- Preferably has advanced understanding of wRVU principles and concepts, physician reimbursement, accounts payable management, coding, physician practice key indicators and MGMA benchmarks.
- A working knowledge of wRVU’s, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement rules for physicians and the ability to read and interpret contracts.
- Building and deploying corporate and market level reports and dashboards.
- Experience in reading and interpreting contracts dealing with Physician compensation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 5 years of financial analysis experience in healthcare industry.
- High level of analytical skills and extensive knowledge and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate knowledge of financial modeling techniques.
- Capacity to review, identify and implement improvement opportunities where new processes, technologies or efficiencies can be applied.
- Comprehensive conceptual problem solving and analytical skills utilizing complex spreadsheets, comparison tools and other evaluation systems.
- Strong investigational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Independently organize work plans for assigned projects within team structure and develop constructive working relationships with others.
- Skilled in oral and written communication with a diverse level of participant knowledge and ability.
- Occasional travel to Dallas, TX for meetings and/or team building events. Selected candidate will be required to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Compensation:
- Base pay: $100,000 - $150,000 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-50% depending on role level.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
