About the Opportunity

Recruit22 is partnering with a leading healthcare organization seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic business and technology initiatives across multiple departments. This role is responsible for delivering complex projects from initiation through implementation while driving collaboration among business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with experience managing multiple concurrent projects, applying Agile and Waterfall methodologies, facilitating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. This individual will be highly organized, analytical, solution-oriented, and comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning through successful completion.
• Lead cross-functional teams consisting of business stakeholders, technology resources, vendors, and consultants.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource allocations.
• Drive project execution while ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and quality standards.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies.

Agile Project Delivery

• Apply Agile principles and methodologies to improve team effectiveness and delivery outcomes.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support teams in removing obstacles and maintaining project momentum.
• Balance Agile and traditional project management approaches based on project needs.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders, technical teams, third-party vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare and communicate project status updates, key milestones, risks, and critical issues.
• Develop and execute project communication plans.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive-level project reviews.
• Ensure alignment between project objectives and business goals.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead post-project reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance project delivery performance.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and a solutions-focused team culture.
• Support organizational project management standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience leading complex business or technology initiatives.
• Experience managing projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience coordinating internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
• Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO).
• Experience leading software development, technology, digital transformation, or enterprise application projects.
