Job Title: Senior Clinical Healthcare Project Manager
Location: Remote (U.S.); occasional travel up to 10%
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)
About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Project Manager for clinical and business application transformation at a major healthcare and health-services organization.
You will run assigned capability projects with IT Capability Leaders, Account Leaders, delivery teams, and vendors. Healthcare IT project time is required—not a generic coordinator role.
What You’ll Do:
  • Facilitate implementation of clinical and business applications in a healthcare setting.
  • Partner with IT Capability Leaders, Account Leaders, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Report timeline and progress deviations to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risk.
  • Keep execution status current in ServiceNow (timelines, milestones, deliverables).
  • Align project teams to business priorities.
  • Prepare planned vs. actual resource-allocation inputs.
  • Run routine project meetings, reviews, and ad-hoc sessions.
  • Identify and coordinate cross-project and cross-team dependencies.
  • Track workstreams and information flow against healthcare IT workflows.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years IT project management.
  • 2+ years project management in a healthcare setting.
  • 2+ years managing technical healthcare projects (clinical apps, non-clinical apps, or infrastructure).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP.
  • Hands-on ServiceNow.
  • Strong multi-channel communication.
  • Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day PM work.
