Job Overview

 

The Market Recruiter is responsible for recruitment of clinical and non‑clinical healthcare professionals at multiple locations to support organizational staffing needs.  This role partners closely with hiring managers, HR, and operational leaders to attract, evaluate, and hire high‑quality talent while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and best hiring practices.

 

The Healthcare Recruiter manages requisitions from intake through offer acceptance, develops targeted sourcing strategies for hard‑to‑fill roles, and delivers an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience. Success in this role requires strong relationship‑building skills, an understanding of healthcare labor markets, effective use of technology, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

 

 

 

The pay range for this position is $61,420 - $92,130/annually. Compensation is determined based on experience and departmental equity. 

Responsibilities

  • Recruits, screens and interviews internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies.
  • Conducts interviews in person or via telephone using appropriate techniques.
  • Reviews and evaluates applicant’s work history, education, training, and other related qualifications. With a thorough understanding a job’s responsibilities and necessary qualifications and competencies, selects candidates that appear to be the best matches for the open position, thus reducing number of interviews and any associated costs to the organization.
  • Succinctly informs candidates of job’s responsibilities, prospective compensation and the organization’s benefits package, job advancement potential and the job and organization’s work environment. Proactively provides hiring managers and other applicable parties with the a qualified candidate’s perceived strengths and weaknesses as they relate to the job’s responsibilities and requirements, work environment and personalities involved.
  • Develops sourcing strategies for talented and diverse candidates through creative methods such as job posting, data mining of the internet, on-line databases, social media, internal databases, employee referrals, networking, cold calling, competitor research, career fairs, etc. Maintains a network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates
  • Conducts initial intake and recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers, with regular follow—up and progress updates. Partners with hiring managers to generate ideas, leverage resources, and share information that facilitates effective searches.
  • Reviews reference checks, prepares and extends job offers to candidate directly
  • Represents SHC in a knowledgeable, positive and professional manner within the many communities encountered. This includes, but is not limited to, interaction with the general public, professional organizations, physicians, practitioners, and potential job candidates.
