AET Federal, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Lead System Administrator to support an anticipated Air Force Medical Command (AFMEDCOM) requirement involving the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system and its technical refresh, LogiCole.

This individual will serve as the Project Manager and Lead DMLSS/LogiCole System Administrator for CONUS Hub #1. The selected candidate will provide contract leadership while maintaining hands-on responsibility for DMLSS/LogiCole system administration, medical logistics data management, end-user support, training, and technical coordination.

This is a remote position, subject to Government approval. Normal duty hours are expected to be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the employee’s local time zone. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as AET’s Project Manager and primary point of contact for contract performance.
  • Lead and oversee all project-management, technical-support, quality-assurance, staffing, scheduling, reporting, and risk-management activities.
  • Provide hands-on administration and functional support for Air Force DMLSS and LogiCole environments.
  • Monitor system and server status and support end-of-day, end-of-month, and end-of-fiscal-year processes.
  • Manage and troubleshoot the DMLSS Communication Manager and interfaces between DMLSS, LogiCole, and external systems.
  • Provide technical direction and oversight to DMLSS/LogiCole site administrators at supported Host, Client, and Centralized Service Distribution Center locations.
  • Support software upgrades, vendor-product and pricing-data updates, system configuration, and deficiency reporting.
  • Manage War Reserve Materiel data and support Assemblage Management functions, including allowance updates, prime and substitute items, inventories, gains and losses, shipments, sales, modernization actions, fund targets, and reporting.
  • Use electronic catalogs and DMLSS strategic-sourcing functionality to identify alternative supply sources and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support DLA-Troop Support Prime Vendor programs, payment systems, and related supply processes.
  • Develop and process Business Intelligence Common Services reports and assist users with Report & Analytics applications.
  • Oversee first-level help-desk support for DMLSS/LogiCole users, including issue tracking, troubleshooting, escalation, workarounds, and system-status communications.
  • Analyze support trends and recommend corrective actions, preventive measures, or additional training.
  • Develop and deliver virtual DMLSS/LogiCole training and train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Communicate technical recommendations to AFMEDCOM leadership, senior managers, site administrators, and end-users.
  • Develop project plans, monthly status and financial reports, meeting minutes, problem-notification reports, transition documentation, analytical papers, and other contract deliverables.
  • Coordinate project kickoff activities, semiannual program reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable Air Force policies, technical orders, user guides, and medical logistics requirements.
Required Qualifications

Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; or
  • At least 10 years of Air Force medical logistics experience, including at least four years of hands-on DMLSS AIS experience.
Candidates must also possess:

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Air Force DMLSS and/or LogiCole.
  • Working knowledge of Air Force finance and medical logistics operations.
  • Core knowledge of Assemblage Management functionality.
  • Experience developing BCS reports.
  • Proficiency with electronic catalogs and DMLSS strategic-sourcing functionality, including preferred-item functionality and identification of alternative supply sources.
  • Working knowledge of DLA-Troop Support Prime Vendor programs and payment systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Air Force Medical Logistics policies.
  • Understanding of how DMLSS/LogiCole administration and data integrity affect operational readiness.
  • Experience providing system administration, troubleshooting, functional support, and user assistance.
  • Strong project-management, leadership, organization, and quality-control skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior Government managers, technical personnel, site administrators, and end-users.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and respond to Government inquiries within established timeframes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1/NACI background investigation and Government suitability determination.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting AFMEDCOM.
  • Experience managing Air Force War Reserve Materiel data.
  • Experience supporting a regional DMLSS Host, Client, or CSDC environment.
  • Previous DMLSS-to-LogiCole implementation or transition experience.
  • Experience participating in DMLSS/LogiCole working groups, technical reviews, deployments, or implementation teams.
  • Project Management Professional or comparable project-management certification.
Additional Information

This position supports an anticipated federal contract and is contingent upon contract award, funding, and Government approval of proposed personnel. The work is expected to be performed remotely, with no routine travel currently anticipated. The selected individual must comply with all Government suitability, system-access, cybersecurity, privacy, and training requirements.
Compensation: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
