Project Manager: Implementation

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of large-scale programs and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, and develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Establish and maintain effective governance structures, communication channels, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to execute project activities and mitigate risks.
• Monitor program performance metrics, track progress against milestones, and report on program status, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Lead change management initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency.
• Mentor and coach junior program managers and project team members.
• Lead and coordinate Payroll Processing implementation for US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, managing regional timelines and vendor relationships.
• Drive risk identification and escalation through RAID logs and track vendor costs and resource constraints.
• Oversee preparation and review of Key Design Decision (KDD) documents and project deliverables.
• Create mitigation, training, and cutover plans to ensure successful regional execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in program management, project management, or a related role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as PMBOK, Agile, and Waterfall.

Preferred Skills:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience managing programs or projects in a technology, engineering, or product development environment.
• Knowledge of program/portfolio management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
