Position Overview
The Principal Customer Success, Academic Outcomes role drives transformative academic solutions across partner schools, by providing curriculum implementation support, data-driven services, and coordinating professional learning. This role aligns across curriculum, product, technology, and professional development, ensuring schools are equipped to meet evolving educational challenges.
Core Responsibilities

Strategic Innovation: Coordinate cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions for curriculum, instruction, and technology, leveraging design thinking and evidence-based practices.

Data-Driven Impact: Analyze academic data to identify opportunities for improvement, measure intervention outcomes, and inform strategic decisions.

Professional Learning Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure professional learning experiences are aligned with school partner needs. Identify gaps, communicate requirements, and facilitate connections with school teams. The Principal Customer Success, Academic Outcomes does not directly deliver professional learning but acts as a strategic coordinator.

School Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships with school teams, serving as a trusted advisor on academic and technology initiatives.

School Improvement Plan (SIP) Support: Guide and support Connections Academy school partners in the development and execution of School Improvement Plans. This includes:
- Collaborating with school staff to analyze data and identify focus areas for SIPs
- Coordinating PVS resources and support to help Connections Academy schools achieve SIP goals
- Tracking progress and efforts in a structured action plan, ensuring accountability and transparency

Legislative & Compliance Review: Communicate updates in educational legislation to internal Product & Technology teams.

Continuous Improvement: Facilitate Curriculum Small Wins initiatives, advocating for school curriculum needs and supporting incremental changes that drive overall school performance. This includes planning, organizing, and hosting Design Thinking Sessions with Connections Academy school staff members, as well as follow up feedback sessions with teachers and students. Serve in the Product Management role supporting scope definition and prioritization of development projects. Validate completed projects and manage communication to impacted school staff and other key stakeholders.

Product Roadmap Collaboration: Partner with product and technology teams to ensure school needs inform product development and implementation.

Course Selection and Modification: Support school partners during course selection process and facilitate school requests for course customizations to meet state requirements and/or to support academic outcomes.

- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location.
The full-time salary range for this role is $120,000 – $130,000 annually.
