Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support several high-priority technology integration and infrastructure initiatives following the combination of two organizations.
This individual will lead the day-to-day project management of multiple concurrent workstreams, including a Microsoft 365 environment migration and consolidation, identity/SSO integration, and managed service provider transition.
The ideal candidate is a traditional project manager with a strong background in IT infrastructure, cloud environments, technology migrations, and service provider transitions. This is not a hands-on engineering role, but candidates should be technically fluent enough to understand infrastructure concepts, communicate effectively with technical teams, identify dependencies and risks, and keep complex projects moving forward.
Responsibilities
The strongest candidate will be someone who has previously stepped into a complex IT environment and successfully coordinated infrastructure migrations or integrations across multiple teams and vendors. They should be comfortable bringing structure and accountability to a fast-moving project without creating unnecessary process. Experience within media, events, or a similarly fast-paced organization is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent IT infrastructure and integration projects from planning through implementation and cutover.
- Coordinate the consolidation and migration of separate Microsoft 365 environments into a unified environment.
- Support identity and access management initiatives involving SSO and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Coordinate migration activities involving email, shared information, applications, and other Microsoft-based services.
- Partner closely with technical workstream leads, third-party vendors, consultants, and business stakeholders.
- Manage the transition from existing IT service providers to a new Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, knowledge transfer, transition planning, dependencies, and implementation timelines.
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, action items, risks, and dependencies.
- Keep technical teams and external partners accountable to deliverables and deadlines.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide clear, concise communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify potential roadblocks early and work across teams to keep projects on track.
- Support migration and implementation activities that may occasionally take place outside of standard business hours.
- 5β10 years of IT project management experience, ideally supporting infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise technology initiatives.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 migrations, integrations, or infrastructure transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and the ability to effectively communicate with technical teams without needing to be a hands-on engineer.
- Experience coordinating projects involving SSO, identity/access management, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, or similar technologies is highly valuable.
- Experience managing MSP, IT service provider, or vendor transitions strongly preferred.
- Previous experience supporting M&A integrations, company consolidations, or the integration of separate technology environments is a plus.
- Strong project planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams, third-party providers, and stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities and requirements may evolve.
- Organized, proactive, adaptable, and able to remain level-headed when projects encounter challenges.
