Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
We are inviting Health Research Analysts with a quantitative focus to join us in contributing to domestic health policy and public health projects. The analyst will support project teams in the management and execution of rigorous, data-driven research projects for clients such as: the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), leading health foundations, and numerous state and local agencies.
Health research analysts work on a variety of projects spanning policy and programmatic areas. Topics vary and may include: health care access and quality, community health centers, primary care, behavioral health care, maternal and child health, HIV treatment, rural health care, public health data modernization, Medicaid, Medicare, aging populations, and more. Analysts typically work on two to four projects at a time and are matched to projects that suit their skills and offer opportunities for professional growth.
