Position functions as the application support analyst assisting in the child welfare system support to internal and external staff and partners, assisting them with program problems. The position may work with DHHS’ CSA, Department of Technology, Management & Budget (DTMB), other partner agencies, field operations, the county local offices, and other stakeholders. Position provides support to CCWIS/MiSACWIS Application users.

Required Education and Experience

Education
Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major

Experience

Departmental Analyst 9
No specific type or amount is required.
 
 Departmental Analyst 10
One year of professional experience.
 
 Departmental Analyst P11
Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.

Preferred: Experience with DHHS systems including (but not limited to) Bridges, SWSS-FAJ, ASCAP, and CCWIS/MiSACWIS is preferred; functional in Microsoft office applications including preparing power point presentations, Microsoft Project plans, and Excel spreadsheets.

Additional Requirements and Information

This position is being filled as a limited-term appointment.  Limited-term appointments have the potential to become permanent but there is no guarantee.


The physical location of this position is MDHHS Central Office235 S. Grand Ave.,  Lansing, MI 48909.  Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.

Employees will be provided computers to perform state work.  Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:

  • A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
  • A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
  • Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.

Certain positions may require a criminal history background check.
