Data Analyst

Summary: Works independently to perform analysis, preparation, and entry of data into prescribed data formats. Submits recommendations for solutions. Prepares detailed specifications, flowcharts, written reports and briefing materials.

Responsibilities include those listed below but are not limited to:
  • Perform data collection, entry and validation
  • Support data analytics including quantitative and qualitative analyses using existing enterprise data, trends analysis, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support drafting standard and ad hoc reporting templates and procedures
  • Generate standard, periodic, and ad hoc reports
  • Perform data quality and accuracy reviews
  • Support data visualization and maintain dashboards
  • Support integration of data collection tools for dashboards
  • Assist with procurement systems data management including PRISM, FFMS, APFS
  • Provide SharePoint administration
  • Prepare Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) data and reports
  • Provide recommendations for process and data collection improvements
  • Provide recommendations for enhanced data analysis, visualization and reporting

Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and apply critical analysis to problems and develop alternative solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in problem resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Strong consulting and analytical skills required
  • Strong client relationship management skills required
  • Must have excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate on complex issues and present results to customers and senior level management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including SharePoint, Outlook, TEAMS, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting FOIA responses
  • Experience supporting Client or Client Component or comparable federal agencies
  • Basic understanding of federal acquisitions and contracting principles
  • Relevant certifications such as SharePoint or Power BI/Power Apps
Clearance:
  • Client Fitness with Entry on Duty (EOD)
  • Client or Secret and above highly desired
  • Current Client badges highly desired
