Customer Service Rep - Customer Service - Junior

Location: Framingham, MA

Onsite Flexibility: Remote

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 6 months
  • Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week; must support EST normal business hours

Job Summary

This role is responsible for executing all activities of the Waste & Recycling Department. The position provides customer service to all US Store locations regarding Waste & Recycling related issues. It ensures the stores receive the right service, at the right frequency, matching the contracted Scope of Work with the Waste Haulers/Brokers. The role also ensures timely Compactor/baler repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond accurately, promptly, and effectively to all forms of communication, including phone calls, e-mails, & Service Channel portal.
  • Ensure all service issues and repairs are completed in a timely manner and escalating difficult calls to next Authority level when issues/repairs are not being addressed within certain timelines.
  • Monitor Service Channel platform to ensure Vendors are dispatching and completing Store work order requests in accordance with Contractual obligations.
  • Communicate with Vendors, Store Managers and Home Office personnel to resolve problems and answer questions.
  • Work to ensure waste/recycling services are in accordance with the TJX corporate Sustainability goals to reduce TJX's carbon footprint.
  • Oversee the pick-up schedules for the hazardous waste program.
  • Consult with Store Operations & Safety team regarding hazardous waste violations.
  • Execute daily operation of Special Project initiatives from Store Operations partners.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and capable of moderating a high volume of inbound content.

  • Service Channel experience preferred

Required Experience

  • 2 or more years of customer service experience
