The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) is one of Georgia's four health agencies serving the state's growing population of over 10 million people. DCH serves as the lead agency for Medicaid, oversees the State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) and Healthcare Facility Regulation, impacting one in four Georgians.

This position supervises, guides, and assigns work to subordinate staff while performing a broad range of administrative and operational support duties for assigned programs or functional areas. It handles complex tasks that may involve access to confidential or sensitive information, researches and resolves program-related data issues or inquiries, and prepares documentation, reports, and presentations. This position also serves as a representative of the program or unit by providing information and assistance to internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, this role performs the following:
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited College or University AND Four years of related experience Or Six years of related experience.
Experience leading or supervising a team.
Strong verbal and written communication, and active listening skills.
Proficiency with databases including ASPEN, GAHLES, IQIES, and Laserfiche.
